For those of you with relatives in western New York, two websites were just recommended to us.
The obituary index at the Schenectady Digital History Archive has been updated through yesterday and now contains 83,788
citations.
http://www.schenectadyhistory.org/vitalrecords/deaths/index.html
In addition to current and historical Schenectady County newspapers, the index includes recent years of papers covering the
counties of Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Schoharie, Warren and Washington, as well as some items from Albany
and Rensselaer.
